Through the WKNI, there are several state of the art treatment options available to the brain tumor patient. Depending on the type, size, growth rate and location of the tumor, the neurologist may treat the patient with one or more of the following; advanced surgical techniques, conventional or Gamma Knife radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or new treatment modalities that are part of ongoing clinical trials.
